How is the six-week onboarding framework structured at Railway?
Founder & CEO at Railway
Our onboarding is split into three distinct two-week phases: Trust, Clarity, and Judgment. During the first two weeks, new hires ship small, high-frequency tasks to establish baseline operational trust and familiarity with our deployment systems. The next two weeks focus on clarity, where they write Requests for Comments and tackle moderately complex platform issues. The final two weeks test independent judgment, where they identify and execute a meaningful project that the company needs without explicit direction.
