What would it take for you to change your perspective on generative AI?

I would need to see fundamental hardware breakthroughs that drastically reduce compute costs by orders of magnitude, eliminate destructive environmental power drains, and demonstrate software architectures that reliably execute end-to-end tasks without requiring human error mitigation.
