AI is an amplifier, not an equalizer. Everyone in technology today has access to the exact same foundational models and coding tools, just like every graphic designer once had access to Photoshop. The tools are completely democratic, but the output is not. High performers with exceptional curiosity, domain expertise, and clear thinking use AI to execute at ten times their previous speed. For someone with mediocre ideas or poor product judgment, AI merely automates mediocrity faster. Taste, user empathy, and strategic judgment matter far more now because raw execution has been commoditized.
