Most generic startup advice is survivorship bias wrapped in platitudes, generated by people who have not built or operated modern businesses under current market dynamics. Strategies that worked in low-interest-rate eras or previous technology cycles fail completely in an AI-accelerated market. Founders must think from first principles, observe their own users rigorously, and formulate bespoke operating mechanics rather than copying obsolete playbooks.
