Why do you hold a portion of your portfolio in gold instead of Bitcoin?

I allocate about one percent to Bitcoin but prefer gold, which represents five to fifteen percent of my portfolio. Gold is the second largest reserve currency and carries no third-party liability. Governments can easily ban or tax Bitcoin if it threatens their control.
