Yes, the failure mode has changed. Lazy work used to mean a lack of output. Now it means over-output. We call it lobbing slop grenades at each other. Someone tells an AI to make a change, rubber-stamps the result without reading it carefully, and now their colleagues have to review something that does not quite make sense. Or someone writes a long, AI-inflated email that the recipient then has to compress back down with another AI. That cycle is genuinely wasteful.
