Why do you consider two the worst number of co-founders, and why did you choose to build as a solo founder?
Founder & CEO at Railway
Two founders frequently encounter deadlocks where disagreements lead to political paralysis, compromise solutions, or silent resentment. As a solo founder, the feedback loop is instantaneous. The buck stops entirely with you, which eliminates bureaucratic hesitation. To protect against blind spots, I intentionally construct decision forums where I place myself in three-person groups with senior leaders where I can be outvoted. You want swift decision velocity without autocratic stubbornness.
