Airbnb is expanding into full-service offerings like baby gear, laundry, and equipment. What is the vision there?
Co-founder & CEO at Airbnb
Guests love the unique character of staying in private homes, but they frequently miss the standardized conveniences of luxury hotels. We realized we could offer everything a hotel provides and significantly more. If you travel with young children, you can have verified cribs and baby gear waiting in the house instead of hoping a hotel has one left. If you are taking a ski vacation, your fitted boots and skis can be delivered directly to the property before you arrive. By integrating services like groceries, laundry, catering, and airport pickups, we turn every home into a full-service hospitality experience.
