What does it actually mean for Airbnb to become an AI-native company from the ground up?
Co-founder & CEO at Airbnb
It means modernizing every touch point of the application to make it substantially more intelligent and easier to use. Rather than simply bolting on a conversational interface, we are embedding intelligence across the entire user journey. When a guest opens the platform, they can use natural language to describe their ideal trip, the view they want, the architecture, and who they are traveling with. The platform will serve up results, prefilter homes according to their exact preferences, generate custom summaries tailored to what they care about, and allow them to ask questions directly to the listing page. On the host side, the application acts like an autonomous coach that understands their financial goals and assists with pricing.
