You said when you left college you briefly fell into illegal activity. What happened?

I tried legitimate jobs. Red Lobster, Longhorn, Outback, McDonald's. And living in Atlanta I fell victim to the scamming circle that exists there. Card scams, bank stuff, things like that. I was never a bad guy. I just thought I could do that on the side while pursuing comedy. But I was really just flirting with comedy, not actually doing it. The karma of it weighed on me constantly. And then we got arm robbed. There was a gun to my head and I had this out-of-body moment of how did I end up here? That was the last moment. I said to myself if I survive this I am going to become a comedian or die trying. Full stop.
