I learned transcendental meditation at 14 and it changed who I am. It allows you to let go of all ordinary concerns and see beyond the surface. The things on the surface are not interesting to me. I want the depth underneath. Before recording sessions, I would sit and meditate with Tom Petty, Johnny Cash, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It is the most profound learnable practice I can recommend.
