A word I have been thinking about lately is indefensible. In making art, indefensible is actually a good thing. Maybe not just a good thing but a necessary thing. You take things to an extreme that you cannot defend rationally. I cannot tell you why. It is beyond reason. When the universe sends you a signal through many different sources, that is an invitation to participate in something. Following an indefensible calling is how the best things get made.
