Who do you consider to be Netflix's primary competitors for screen time?
Replied byTed Sarandos
Co-CEO at Netflix
Niche: Technology
Revenue: Approx. 3.75 Billion USD/month
Location: Los Gatos, California, United States
Started: 1997
We compete for general screen time, particularly the screen in the living room. When a consumer picks up their remote, we want Netflix to be their first choice. We do not compete directly with short-form mobile video apps like Tik Tok because they serve a very different, free consumer behavior.
