Q

What inspired you to start Zig AI?

Question 1 of 12
Steve Ancheta

Zig came from my 16 years in sales. I started in door-to-door sales, became a sales leader, and later worked as a sales engineer. Throughout my career, I saw how much time salespeople spend on tasks that don't generate revenue. I wanted to build something that would remove those burdens and allow them to focus on selling.

Q

What problem does Zig AI solve for sales teams?

Question 2 of 12
Steve Ancheta

Salespeople have too much on their plate. They need to generate leads, prepare for meetings, conduct research, manage follow-ups, and maintain customer relationships. Zig gives every salesperson a team of AI executive assistants that can handle those tasks, freeing them to focus on building relationships and closing deals.

Q

What problem does Zig AI solve for sales teams?

Question 3 of 12
Steve Ancheta

Salespeople have too much on their plate. They need to generate leads, prepare for meetings, conduct research, manage follow-ups, and maintain customer relationships. Zig gives every salesperson a team of AI executive assistants that can handle those tasks, freeing them to focus on building relationships and closing deals.

0
Q

How does Zig AI help companies increase efficiency?

Question 4 of 12
Steve Ancheta

Most sales organizations spend a lot of human capital on repetitive work. Zig replaces much of that effort with AI agents that can analyze data, generate leads, prepare for meetings, follow up with customers, and execute workflows automatically. This dramatically increases speed while allowing employees to focus on higher-value activities.

0
Q

Who benefits most from using Zig AI?

Question 5 of 12
Steve Ancheta

We see the strongest results with full-cycle account executives. They are responsible for both generating new business and maintaining customer relationships. Because they balance so many responsibilities at once, they experience immediate value from having AI agents supporting their daily activities.

0
Q

How do you position Zig AI differently from traditional sales software?

Question 6 of 12
Steve Ancheta

Zig is not a software company that simply added AI features. We are an AI company that happens to look like software. Traditional tools require users to operate them. Zig uses AI agents that can reason, make decisions, take action, and continuously adapt to user behavior. That creates a completely different experience.

0
Q

What are the most common objections you hear from potential customers?

Question 7 of 12
Steve Ancheta

The first is education. Many companies still don't fully understand AI and its capabilities. The second is comparison. Some people assume Zig is just another sales tool. We spend time helping customers understand that we're not replacing one piece of software with another. We're introducing AI agents that actively work on behalf of the user.

0
Q

Why is education so important in the AI industry today?

Question 8 of 12
Steve Ancheta

There is still a large gap between people who use AI every day and those who only hear about it. If customers don't understand what AI can realistically do, they won't get maximum value from it. We spend time educating users because successful adoption is more important than simply making a sale.

0
Q

How do you describe Zig AI in one sentence?

Question 9 of 12
Steve Ancheta

We describe Zig as sales execution infrastructure. It builds a living infrastructure around the sales organization by connecting data, identifying winning patterns, understanding customer behavior, and continuously improving as new information becomes available.

0
Q

What do many companies misunderstand about sales technology?

Question 10 of 12
Steve Ancheta

Many organizations believe that more tools automatically solve more problems. In reality, too many tools often create complexity and confusion. Salespeople end up switching between platforms instead of focusing on customers. Technology should simplify work, not create additional layers of effort.

0
Q

Why did you build Zig to adapt to users instead of changing their workflow?

Question 11 of 12
Steve Ancheta

One of the biggest mistakes in software is forcing users to completely change how they work. Salespeople develop habits that make them successful. Instead of changing those habits, Zig learns from user behavior and adapts to the way they already operate, making adoption much easier.

0
Q

What is the key to selling technology to sales professionals?

Question 12 of 12
Steve Ancheta

You have to show value very quickly. Salespeople have limited attention and countless priorities competing for their time. If they don't see a meaningful benefit almost immediately, they'll move on. That's why we focus on creating measurable value within minutes of someone using the platform.
