Q

What makes American Pacific Mining different from other junior mining companies?

Question 1 of 17
Warwick Smith

We have always been transactional by nature. We focus on acquiring high-grade assets in the western United States that could attract major mining companies. At the same time, we've built a strong balance sheet through asset sales, equity holdings, and milestone payments, which gives us flexibility that many junior miners don't have.

0
Q

Why is now the right time to increase exploration activity?

Question 2 of 17
Warwick Smith

We are in one of the strongest financial positions in our history. With cash, equity holdings, and future milestone payments, we have the capital needed to aggressively advance our projects without constantly returning to the market for financing.

0
Q

What is your philosophy on building a mining company?

Question 3 of 17
Warwick Smith

The goal is to create value through smart transactions and disciplined capital allocation. We acquire quality assets, advance them, and when appropriate, partner with or sell them to teams that can continue creating value. That approach has worked well for us over the years.

0
Q

What makes the Madison Copper-Gold Project so exciting?

Question 4 of 17
Warwick Smith

Madison has already produced exceptionally high-grade copper and gold. Historical production grades were far above industry averages. We believe there is significant exploration upside remaining, and the upcoming drill program will test multiple targets that could dramatically expand the project's potential.

0
Q

What would a successful drilling campaign look like?

Question 5 of 17
Warwick Smith

Success would come from either discovering additional high-grade mineralized zones or identifying the deeper porphyry system that we believe may be driving the mineralization. Either outcome could significantly increase the value of the project.

0
Q

Why are you becoming more interested in the Red Hill Gold Project?

Question 6 of 17
Warwick Smith

Red Hill sits near one of the most important gold discoveries in Nevada. Historical drilling produced encouraging results, but we believe the project has not been drilled deeply enough. As we continue reviewing the data, it is becoming one of the most compelling opportunities in our portfolio.

0
Q

Why is maintaining a strong balance sheet so important?

Question 7 of 17
Warwick Smith

A strong balance sheet gives you options. It allows you to advance projects during difficult markets, make acquisitions when opportunities arise, and avoid excessive shareholder dilution. Financial flexibility is one of the most valuable assets a company can have.

0
Q

What is your approach to selling or partnering assets?

Question 8 of 17
Warwick Smith

We look for groups that have the expertise and resources to unlock value from those projects. If we're taking equity in return, we want to back management teams that have a proven track record of success. Choosing the right partners is critical.

0
Q

What do you think about the recent increase in mining industry mergers and acquisitions?

Question 9 of 17
Warwick Smith

I think it's very positive. The industry has too many companies and not enough strong management teams. Bringing quality assets together under experienced leadership can improve efficiency, attract investment, and accelerate project development.

0
Q

How would you describe the health of the junior mining sector today?

Question 10 of 17
Warwick Smith

It's significantly stronger than it was a few years ago. Commodity prices have improved, financing markets have become more active, and investors are beginning to recognize opportunities in the sector. There is still room for further growth if broader market conditions improve.

0
Q

Why are you so bullish on copper?

Question 11 of 17
Warwick Smith

Copper has one of the strongest supply-demand setups in the resource sector. Modern life depends on copper, and demand continues to grow through electrification, infrastructure, and technology. The challenge is that new discoveries take years to develop, creating a significant supply gap.

0
Q

Do you believe the world is facing a copper shortage?

Question 12 of 17
Warwick Smith

Absolutely. The amount of copper required over the next couple of decades is enormous. Demand is rising while development timelines remain very long. The industry will need major new discoveries and significant investment to meet future needs.

0
Q

Why is copper so important in everyday life?

Question 13 of 17
Warwick Smith

Copper is everywhere. It's used in homes, vehicles, electronics, telecommunications, power grids, and renewable energy infrastructure. Most people don't realize how dependent modern society is on copper until they look at how many products require it.

0
Q

What is driving gold's strong performance?

Question 14 of 17
Warwick Smith

Gold often performs well during periods of uncertainty. Investors view it as a store of value and a safe-haven asset. Global instability, inflation concerns, and economic uncertainty have all contributed to stronger demand for gold.

0
Q

What qualities help a mining company attract investors?

Question 15 of 17
Warwick Smith

Investors want strong assets, experienced management, financial discipline, and a clear growth strategy. They also want to see downside protection alongside meaningful upside potential. Our goal is to provide both.

0
Q

What advice would you give business leaders about creating long-term value?

Question 16 of 17
Warwick Smith

Focus on disciplined decision-making. Don't chase every opportunity. Build a strong financial foundation, work with great people, and stay patient. Long-term value is usually created through consistent execution rather than short-term excitement.

0
Q

What excites you most about the future of American Pacific Mining?

Question 17 of 17
Warwick Smith

We have multiple high-quality assets, strong financial resources, and a clear strategy. The upcoming drill programs represent significant opportunities, and we believe we're entering a period where both our projects and the broader commodity market can create substantial value.
