Q

What prompted Vector Technics to expand its manufacturing capacity to 300,000 units annually?

Question 1 of 13
Prudhvi Raj Pakalapati

Previously, we were not equipped to deliver when there was a huge surge in demand within India. That demand showed us there was a massive domestic requirement, which led us to spend the last six months automating our factory systems to scale production.

0
Q

How has the strategic investment from Zen Technologies impacted Vector Technics' operational scale?

Question 2 of 13
Prudhvi Raj Pakalapati

Zen's investment was a turning point for us. It enabled us to expand our annual capacity to 300,000 units and allowed us to recruit the relentless engineering talent needed to deliver high-quality drone propulsion systems.

0
Q

What is the current demand and on-ground capacity utilization like?

Question 3 of 13
Prudhvi Raj Pakalapati

The demand just within India is massive. We have more than enough demand to absorb our expanded 300,000-unit capacity, and we are already looking at further improvements to expand capacity even more.

0
Q

Can you share the details of the acquisition deal between Zen Technologies and Vector Technics?

Question 4 of 13
Prudhvi Raj Pakalapati

Zen acquired a 51% controlling stake in Vector Technics for 25 crore rupees. At the time of the transaction, we were primarily a research-and-development company with negligible revenues, so this funding was crucial for our expansion.

0
Q

How has Vector Technics' revenue profile changed since Zen Technologies' acquisition?

Question 5 of 13
Prudhvi Raj Pakalapati

Before Zen invested, we were doing only R&D volumes, selling sample components to educational institutes with almost no revenue. Since the acquisition, we have transitioned into a commercial manufacturer, growing our revenue to nearly 10 crore rupees last year.

0
Q

What is the current revenue and growth outlook for this financial year?

Question 6 of 13
Prudhvi Raj Pakalapati

We grew 40X last year, reaching close to 10 crore rupees in revenue. This year, we are expecting similar exponential growth, with a target to scale our revenues up to 40X again if market conditions remain favorable.

0
Q

How does the 300,000 unit manufacturing capacity translate into revenue potential?

Question 7 of 13
Prudhvi Raj Pakalapati

Our factory is fully equipped to drive a revenue potential of 400 to 500 crore rupees annually. Our partners and end customers have strong pipelines that demand this level of supply.

0
Q

By when do you expect to hit the 400 crore rupees revenue mark?

Question 8 of 13
Prudhvi Raj Pakalapati

Our factory is ready today. Achieving that 400 crore rupees revenue mark depends on market demand, but we expect to see strong progress toward it by the next financial year (FY27).

0
Q

How is the current order book split between domestic and export sales?

Question 9 of 13
Prudhvi Raj Pakalapati

The domestic demand alone is worth about 300 crore rupees. Over the last six months, we have started exploring global markets and expect to drive about 100 crore rupees from export sales.

0
Q

What is the current monthly revenue run rate and how deliverable is it?

Question 10 of 13
Prudhvi Raj Pakalapati

We are growing every month and currently doing between 3 and 5 crore rupees monthly. Our current order book for this financial year stands at 40 crore rupees, which we are very confident we will deliver.

0
Q

How does Vector Technics differentiate itself from other drone propulsion competitors?

Question 11 of 13
Prudhvi Raj Pakalapati

While there are other players, we are the only company in India that offers a full propulsion kit. We design, develop, and manufacture the motors, speed controllers, propellers, and power systems in-house, stitching them together into a single, pre-certified package for the end user.

0
Q

What kind of profit margins does a vertically integrated drone propulsion business command?

Question 12 of 13
Prudhvi Raj Pakalapati

Because of our deep vertical integration, we command very strong margins. Our gross profit margins typically stand between 60% and 70%.

0
Q

Why do you view the factory itself, rather than the drone component, as the final product?

Question 13 of 13
Prudhvi Raj Pakalapati

The drone industry changes incredibly fast. If we do not adapt quickly, we get left behind. By designing the factory itself as a modular product, we can re-equip and scale production rapidly to match changing technology and demand.
